Paragliding technical control - Annual review

The technical inspection of the paraglider is intended to assess the state of wear of the materials. 

During this wing overhaul, we check the following in the workshop:

• Porosity
• Line breakage (measurement in DaN and replacement of broken lines)
• Fabric tear (tension at which the fabric begins to crack)
• Calibration: measurement of the total length of the lines compared to the original dimensions, and possibly readjustment. 

After this control, a report is issued mentioning the general condition of the wing. It is essential to check your wing frequently to be sure of its strength and behavior. In addition, a possible buyer of your used wing will ask for a wing check if it is more than 2 years old.
