We used our experience in building lightweight wings – like the HERO – to create the Soar, the lightweight version of the Rise4.
The inner and outer fabric and the side reinforcements are all made of double-coated skytex27 (classic II).
The lines are unsheathed (Aramid, Edelrid 8001U), the risers in 3.7 mm dyneema from Edelrid named Taurus.
This Superlight material mix offers maximum lightness, durability and functionality.
The choice of Nitinol rods in the leading edge further lightens the structure, facilitates compact folding of the wing, and optimizes tension.
